Do you know how agonizing it is for me to write this page? I have put this off for quite some time now. BUT....in an effort to let you get to know me a little better here I go. I am using a fellow bloggers post as my inspiration...
Who am I??? I am....
when I was a baby, my mother tells me I was a good one.
as a child I liked to play with the kids in the neighborhood making mud pies or playing games.
as a pre-teen I spent a lot of time on roller skates.
as a teenager enjoyed youth dances and spending time with my friends.
as a young adult I met my husband at a church dance a few months before he left on his mission.
as a young bride I had big plans for the future. All of my plans were things I thought were important. Now that I am older, my priorities have changed.
as a first time mother at the age of 20, I had a lot to learn about raising children.
I am a recipient of many kinds acts of service, big and small, but all have been appreciated.
Spoiled? I wouldn't say I was ever spoiled. EVER!!!
I work full-time to help support our family. Believe me, it's better this way. I could never stay home when there are bills to pay. That would stress me out too much. I prefer to help out in that area. BUT, if we came into a large amount of money, I could become a stay at home wife and mother very quickly!!
I have been known to let the housework go for other things, but that usually never lasts too long. I crave order and no one likes me when I get grouchy about a messy house.
I grew up in a military home. My father was in the Air Force and I was the oldest for 4 children.
As a daughter I still call my mom for a shoulder to lean on, recipes, and tips. My mother is very talented in many ways!
I love to read other blogs, church talks, and a lot of fictional books. My most recent series of books have been the Jack Reacher series. I have several books to go.
I can be silly once in a while.
I would not say I am musical, but I do like to sing.
I am a mother of 4 children, all who are growing up too fast.
If you were to give me something sweet, I usually like chocolate.
I would say I am an animal person. BUT, I do not like a messy or loud animal at all!
I have been known to be impatient, especially when I am tired, which happens to be my normal state MOST days.
I am 46 and married to a wonderful, kind, loving man.
I am cheerful most of time.
BUT I can get quiet when I am not comfortable or feel I am forced to do something I do not want to do.
You will usually find me in a pair of jeans and a T-shirt.
I would say I am a creative person and love to work on my many craft projects.
I am faithful and some would say I am honest to a fault. Honest!!!
AND I am a Mormon.
That's just a little bit about me. My life has been very blessed. I was blessed with parents who encouraged me to develop my talents and share what I have learned with my husband, children, friends and anyone else who comes along.
Feel free to contact me.....
I would love to hear from you.
Thanks for stopping by!
