Ogden Utah Temple To Be Rededicated in September 2014
This is the Ogden, Utah Temple's new look! This temple was beautiful before, but it is even more beautiful now! Love the new look.
This is what the Ogden, Utah Temple use to look like... (Big change!)
The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced the open house and rededication dates for the Ogden, Utah Temple. The temple was closed in April of 2011 for extensive renovations. (It has a new look now!)
The public open house will begin Friday, August 1, 2014 and run through Saturday, September 6, 2014. Every day except Sundays.
The temple will be rededicated in three sessions on Sunday, September 21, 2014, at 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Each of the sessions will be broadcast to meetinghouses in the Ogden Temple district, which includes Ogden and the surrounding area, as well as a portion of Wyoming.
Along with the temple rededication, there will also be a cultural celebration featuring music and dance on Saturday, September 20, 2014.
Very exciting! Wouldn't it be fun to visit all the temples that have been rededicated throughout this country? I know people that have planned their family vacations to do just that. That would be awesome! If any of you get the chance to go see the Ogden Temple let me know. I would love to hear about it. (Take lots of pictures)
