chest is tight and I am just ready to be done and get some rest. Tomorrow should be interesting. Lexi has a tournament close to home. Yeah!!! Happy dance again!!! I am very happy about that and hope we get done early enough to be able to get to bed early. I want us to get to church Sunday. This 9am time slot is rough on us oldies and my youngies too. We get up so darn early every other day then stay up late on Friday and/or Saturday, then our catch up day ends up being Sunday. No we are not proud of that and yes, we need to make church our number one priority. Our heart is there now we have to get the body there too.
I've been thinking about making this recipe again. My family seems to like just about anything made with those crescents or biscuits in the tube. This recipe uses the crescents and it is wonderful!!!
1 pound ground breakfast sausage
1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
1 cup frozen hash brown opotatoes, thawed
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1) Place sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)
2) Separate crescent roll dough into 8 triangles. Place in an increased 12 inch pizza pan with points towards the center. Press together to form a crust. Bottom of crust should be sealed and outside edge should be slightly raised. Spoon sausage over crust. Sprinkle with hash browns and top with cheddar cheese.
3) Beat together eggs, milk, salt and pepper; pour over crust. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
4) Bake in preheated oven until eggs are set, about 25 to 30 minutes.
Tonight a little TV with a little cleaning and laundry. Tomorrow a little Volleyball. Saturday night cleaning and more laundry. AND a little TV. I like Saturday nights. Sunday church! We have an announcement to make but we have to wait a little bit before we share it. It's a good thing.
